Mallett Cup First Round

With three teams entered into the Mallett Cup this year we thought we would stand a fair chance of doing quite well. This was scuppered slightly when the draw left RydeKings B playing RydeKings C and RydeKings A playing Whitecroft A.

Although it is a handicapped tournament these were always going to be tough games all round.

RydeKings A lost putting up a good fight against a strong Whitecroft team.

RydeKings C fought off the more experienced B Team to win 5-3 and so are hopes of doing well rest with them.

Congratulations to James Collingwood, Charlie Taylor and Jack Lyons who all played brilliantly for the C Team.

The 2nd round is RydeKings C v Newport C and is to be played on the 4th December at Ryde Sports Centre.
